NCKF Kumite Seminar a Success On Sunday April 18, Sensei John Limcaco, national USA team karate coach, and Sensei Joey Cruz, long time national karate champion, put on a seminar to prepare athletes for national level sport karate competion. The seminar was sponsored by Ramtown Karate and the Northern California Karate Federation. The floor was packed with students from various Northern California dojos, and well attendend by Ramtown students. This type of training is opening doors for Northern California karate athletes who dream of national and international sport karate competiton, and will make a big difference for the US teams in the years to come! Sensei Limcaco took the Novice and Intermediate groups through drills to improve technique and strategy. Advanced students were put through a tough kicking workout, all leaving with tips and techniques to work on.
